Illustrated with 32 beautiful etchings on 28 pages by Pieter de Mare (1758-1796) after Christina Chalon (1749-1808), paper on board binding, spine gone, Christina Chalon was a Dutch painter and draftsman. She married musician Christan Friedrich Ruppe. She is buried in the Hooglandse Kerk in Leiden. Scarce.
