Description: Leuven (Loven) [= Haarlem], Niclaas Braaw, 1701, 12mo, full leather binding with ribbed spine and title plate and faded gold tooling, dedication to Isabella Robiano + 583 pp., pages slightly discoloured, printwork in good condition (gothic and roman fonts), leather binding is solid, allbeit slightly worn, especcially the spine, engraved title page (t'Antwerpen voor Niklaes Braaw, anno 1701, met gratie ende privilegi, woodcut printer's mark on title page depicting a crown, some decorative initials and woodcut endpieces, with five full page engravings, ex libris (praecinxit me virtute). l By the popular Baroque Jesuit H. Drexel (1581-1638).
