Description: Middelburg, Jan Dane, 1777, Klein 8vo. 9x5.5 cm, bound in dark shagreen (ray skin, in Dutch: "segrijn" or "roggehuid"), the front and back cover are decorated with blind tooled straight lines, 116 pp., in excellent condition, engraved title page, decorative borders throughout the book, astrological symbols, two fold out hand colored maps of Zeeland. l On the top edge the year 1777 has been written. The binding technique is called (in Dutch): "gekartonneerd gelijk-af geheel ingeslagen" and beautifully executed.
