Frederik van de Poll was a Dutch politician and came from a well to do family of Amsterdam regents. The earliest known ancestor was Evert van de Polle who lived in the 14th century. David Jacob van Lennep (1774-1853) also came from this family. Also includes a poem presented by the Utrecht government officials to the happy couple. The title page to this second poem mentions the intended marriage between their daughter Ca. F. van de Poll and Mr. G. C. J. van Reenen.
