Very interesting court document describing the legal fight between the aforementioned French citizens and the Dutch-German- Italian snufftobacco merchant (residing in Amsterdam and Frankfurt) Bolongaro Crévenna. According to the memoire the Frenchmen loaned considerable sums of money to Bolongaro Crévenna and a dispute arose. Good example of 18th century legal disputes. 4o no binding, some contemporary ink stains and writing. Good copy.
