Description: Thomas Bambridge (?-ca. 1750) was sedert 1728 een berucht gevangenisbewaarder van de Fleet Prison in Londen die zijn gevangenen martelde etc. Na een onderzoek in 1729 door het House of Commons werd hij opgesloten in Newgate Prison en vervallen verklaard uit zijn functie.
