Second volume clean and without waterstaining, some minor age staining on some pages, one page bottom damaged but no damage to text. Lit: Jacobsen Jensen 222. The 12 foldout engraved plates of Paris are not included. l Rond 1799 maakte de Engelse dramaturg en romanschrijver Thomas Holcroft (1745 - 1809) de hier beschreven reis. In Nederland bezocht hij Nieuweschans, Groningen, Hoogezand, Lemmer, Amsterdam, Rotterdam en ‘s Gravenhage. Het boek is geïllustreerd met fraaie garvures.
