Dutch language lavishly and detailed illustrated cultural-historic description of the Provinciehuis, or Pavillion Welgelegen, set of dutch civil Government Center, North-Holland province. Images illustrate for the greater part details of the antque interior of the building, constructed between 1782-1785, designed in Louis XVI style, set in Haarlem municipality. Premises were sold to Louis Na;poleon, brother to the Emperor, who can be considered as the first King of the Netherlands during the french occupation. At the time re-named Pavillion Welgelegen, serving as one of the two official seats by the King. Very fine copy, WITH DUSTJACKET.
