Dutch language supplementary volume to the final 4th and most expanded edition 1934 by which author discusses and describes a number of hitherto unknown medicinal and nutritional indonesian herbs and plants. Just as all four previous and always expanded editions informs dutch and indonesian-dutch housewives about use of medical herbs fighting common simple forms of illness and disease, also includes information about basics of haircare, prevention of baldness, removal of superfluous hair with females, skin- and dental care. An almost unknown/forgotten supplementary volome to the findal pre-war edition of 1934. An indonesian language edition was published in 1987, NOT comprising thes upplementary volume. Very good copy. Rare. (extensive ms. annotation in pancil on recte of f.e.p., some occasional and unobtrusive pmarginal pencil annotations in the same hand, small stain to tail margin of outer back-cover, ow. crisp and fine).
