Author informs about literature research in support of his interpretation of this fine piece of art from a plrivate dutch collection. Very good copy. Author worked for a long time as a civil servant in the Dutch East Indies, subdistrict Manggarai (Flores), Saleijer and Pangkadjene, Eastern Indonesia.
