Map volume to the second voyage by van Neck and Warwijck from the Netherlands to the dutch East Indies done between 1595-1600. A historic voyage of discovery at the birth of one of the biggest, if not the largest, trading companies the world has ever seen: the dutch East India Company or V.O.C., which also includes the birth of the Dutch Seaborne Empire. Portfolio with all charts in facsim only, however very difficult to locate nowedays. Cope from the library of L.H. Siertsema, his bookplate pasted inside frontcover. Very fine copy.
