Charming collection of five small coloured lithographed cards illusrating regional folkdress of Norway with promotional text on verso advising consumption of Gingerbread manufactured by Verkade, a confectioner based in Zaandam City, North-Holland Province, the Netherlands. Probably issued at the beginning of the wentieth century, NOT recorded however in GOOIJAERS. Very fine set. (lacks card no. 6).
