ADDED three A-4 sized letters of which two in original typoscript and 1 carbon-copy. I: A two-page letter (verso blank) dated 8 July 1928 to the then resident of Bali by which Kruyt inquires after data about dog-offers on Bali, with original signature in ink. II: half A-4 sized closely typed letter to H.T. Damsté, inquiring after data and literature about dog-0offering by ethnic groups across the colony (The Moluccas,Aceh, etc.), signed in ink by Kruyt. III: A-4 sized letter carboncopyl typoscript (vesso blank) by H.T. Damsté, dated 17 november 1937 to Alb. C. Kruyt about above mentioned publication (notes), which includes a remark about Damsté's brochure :Drie Atjeh-mannen: Snourck Hurgronje, Van Heutsz, Van daalen. NOT SIGNED. Dutch language scholarly inquiry discussing and describing a variety of ethnic/culturral traditional aspects of the dog-offer as practiced amongst ethnic population groups acroos the Dutch East Indies (Central Sulawesi, Sumatra, the Moluccas, Borneo, etc.). Very good copy.
