Framed under Glass, mesuring 88x78 cm. Map embroidered in centre with monochrome local place-names, title at foot of map embroidered in lare vold black type. The whole surrounded by seven large illustrations of domestic animals and plans, including an image of a local tribal village, all embroidered in colours. Unique copy of an original en original map of the former dutch territory of New Guinea, done in coloured original embroidery by a very skilled hand in correct proportions and framed under glass.
