Title-p., list of contents (1,1)pp. With 17 very fine & full-size plans of Saigon City & construction-drawings (plans) on leaves (double-spread), being a proposal for the Dry-Dock construction of Saigon Harbour. Printed on heavy paper, with wide margins & with technical text in French. Official Quotation, submitted by a french maritime engineer, H.Hersant, presented to the french Ministry of Naval Affairs, Colonial Division, dealing with a proposed construction of dry-docks on behalf the french naval station at Saigon, Indo-china. The quotation was accepted and the docks were constructed. Very rare. (spine damaged, but skilfully repaired, upper bds. shaved, lettering faded with age but still clear.)
