Dutch language Feasibility report by a civil engineer, submitted to Dutch Parliament by the Colonial Office at the Hague. The report deals with the construction of a special railroad (rack-or, stanchion construction), over a distance of 29 km., (Kilometer LXVI-XCV), stretching along the southern borders of Padang-river, part of a railway to connect Ombilien Coalleries, Padang Highlands, Sumatra with the Indian Sea. The railway was completed and proved to be a masterpiece of railway construction works. Near fi untrimmed copy in original publ. cloth. Rare.
