After the second World War she was one of a work-group of Dutch artists who called themselves meta-realists because they saw something esoteric about reality and painted it in detail. During her marriage with Johfra (Johannes Franciscus van den Berg) she discovered that Indian and Indonesian influences could help her to transform her art. Her life-work consists of over 300 paintings and are widely collected nowadays. Very fine copy.
