Two brochures calling upon association-members and non-members to donate an annual contribution in order to fight unemployment in Bentveld community. The dutch Woodbrookers Association was founded in 1908 and in 1909 summer-courses started upon initiative of H. van Senden whilst regular courses took place at Barchem after 1911, where the association erected permanent conference-buildings in 1913. At a later stage regional conferences and educational courses were organized, a.o. at Bentveld, Haarlem Municipality. The Association initiated valuable contributions to incorporate socialism within dutch protestant religion and organizations, however focusing upon general advancement of social status by means of further education of the dutch labour-classes, and to provide low-budget holidays.(centre-folded, staples rusty).
