In his essay author supplies information on an exhibition as organized by the editors of the dutch monthly Nederlandsch-Indië Oud en Nieuw, NION at Arti et Amicitia, Amsterdam, exhibiting a collection of photographs and art objects from Bali. Author discusses and describes photographs as exhibited, by Gregor Krause, a military G.P, stationed on Bali and includes his own experiences an recollections of his earlier excursions on the Island. Illustrations show 8 photographs by Krause and 2 etchings by author himself. An interesting essay and review. Good copy. (Some light wear to spine-ends skilfully restored)
