All very hush hush, lessening the pressure on dutch regular troops in 1948, could have changed the outcome of the dutch-indonesian armed dispute 1945-1950, the organization collapsed after the untimely death of the CinC, General S.H. Spoor. Loosely inserted. Describes the life and times of Lt. General S.H. Spoor, Commander-in-Chief of the dutch expeditionary force in post-war Indonesia, during the dutch-indonesian [armed] dispute, 1945-1950, up till his untimely death by heartattack in 1949. Good copy.
