(for the first time) an advert. of McDonald's printed on a stiff orange coloured leave, list of fire-works at end, and an orange-coloured reply card to the committe at very end. Programme of festivities as organized by the so-called 3 october Vereeniging, issued upon the 87th anniversary of the committee, founded 13 may 1885, commemmorating the relief of a 2-year siege of Leyden Municipality by spanish troops during the eighty-years war between the seven United Provinces against Spain, on 3rd. of October 1574. The city was awarded her famous University by Prince William of Orange for her gallantry and perseverance. Very fine copy. (lower left corner of lower outer wrap. a wee bit wrinkled).
