A lavishly illustrated run of this dutch bi-montly as published by the [dutch] Royal Zoological Society Artis Natura Magistra, Koninklijk Zoologisch Genootschap Artis Natura Magistra, containing num. expert-artt. on all kinds of animals in general and as present in the famous Amsterdam Zoo commonly called Artis, incl. information for youths on the subject and special events as births seldomly occurring with exclusive species kept in captivity. After the 30th year of publication in 1985 the periodical was continued on a new name:Dieren, or Animals, being a combined publication of the Amsterdam Zoo Artis and the so-called Blijdorp Zoo, Rotterdam. Set in excellent condition (Chronology of the continuation has been misprinted: year 2-3 and 4-5, should be read as year 1-2, 3-4)
