Thomassen, dated Schoorl, [3] januari 1979, 21 lines and initialled in Ms. at tail, directed to [Dr.] Jan Bank (a dutch historian), notifying addressee having read his new publication:Opkomst en Ondergang van de Nederlandse Volksbeweging (N.V.B.), 1978, in which Thomassed played a [to his own saying] a modest role, with his [Thomassen's) commentary and corrections to the publication, typed-carbon copy, on 9 sm. folio leaves. This diary of a tour throuh Israel is strongly connected to the attendance of Mr. W. thomassen to the XVth Congress of the International Union of Local Authorities (I.U.L.A.), as kept in Israel 16-22 November 1960. A rare piece of memorabilia in good condition.
