The author opens the discussion with some remarks on the peculiarities of the so-called 'historical' in wayang purwa plays, demonstrated by the wayang purwa plays Karta-Wiyoga and Jaladara Rabi, two successive plays of the Pandawa stories in the above mentioned edition. Then the content of the play Jaladara Rabi is given as well as an abstract of the same theme, published as number 14 in the Drie-en-twintig schetsen [..] by Te Mechelen (1879b), followed by some notes on the proper names of some of the characters of the play and in conclusion, extensive notes on the text of the play.
