Arabic manuscript in black ink on lightweight wove paper, approx. 395 leaves (5.2 x 3.5cm), naskh script, 17 lines to the page, polychromatic floral border to opening bifolium, decorated throughout with surah-headings in red thuluth on gold ground, concentric panels around text in red, black and gold, and lobed marginal decorations including juz' markings, contemporary black shagreen binding decorated in gilt, first leaf with marginal loss.
