First edition, 12mo, [4], xii, 128, [16]pp., LACKING the 3 folding plates of engravers' marks and monograms, cont. calf, rubbed, re-backed with inner hinges strengthened. A preface of 12 pages which is a brief history of engraving is followed by 128 pages of names arranged in two series, the first being numbers 1 (Martin Schoen) to 639 (J. Dieu de S.
