First edition, 8vo (206 x 122 mm), [18], 259, [1], [12], 120pp., complete with supplement and Latin title page for both the main work and the supplement (usually lacking), cont. calf, red morocco spine label lettered in gilt, a nice copy. "This in its time was a standard handbook, used by botanists, gardeners, nurseries, seedsmen. It lists trees and shrubs, herbaceous plates, greenhouse plants, stove plants, and seeds according to their Linnaean binomial and English names."—Hunt.
