Description: London: Watts, October, 1839.] 4to (228 x 190 mm), 16pp., title with the Sultan's tughra in gilt, 3 leaves of hand-coloured illustrations of flags, of the main Hanseatic cities in Turkey, text in Ottoman Turkish, original plain green wrappers, all edges gilt, a fine copy. Watts had a large repertoire of exotic types normally used for missionary printing, a current political text is almost unprecedented; the typesetter - Basha Ibrahim Nasrallah - is specifically named, which is very unusual. Not traced in JISC or OCLC, however the British Library holds an edition in German printed in Hamburg in the same year (1839).
