VG. ¶ This is an original one-page single-side, single-spaced original typed letter of 12 lines, signed by the president of the French publishing house Editions Stock, addressed to the American author Henry Miller, requesting permission to print a 1951 letter of Miller's in an edition of Dr. de Fontbrune's "Les Prophéties de Maistre Michel Nostradamus". With the handwritten word "File" inked in Miller's hand at head of page.
