I have never laughed so much in my life. I think the author might have named his book "Sweet Shoes" for there is not a page, not even a para, which does not administer a 'sweet shoe' to somebody. The gentlemen whom you call Mr. Rip Van Winkle has done the greatest possible service to Juju, who might, like Lord Byron, exclaim 'I woke up one morning and found myself famous'. The questions asked in the Bihar and Orissa Legislative Council incidently show how fit some of our Councillors are for the post. Apparently some of them have no sense of propriety or even common sense and expect the Government to undertake a wild goose chase to trace an anonymous writer in order that a Councillor's whims may be satisfied...." - from Appendix (dated April 1919)].
