Title: A typed-letter-signed by Guy Buchet to Henry Miller dated 31 janvier 1978
Description: Paris. ¶ This is an original one-page single-side 12-line typed letter from Guy Buchet, proprietor of the French publishing house Editions Buchet / Chastel, to the American author Henry Miller. At the top of the letter, Miller's son Tony (then acting as his father's secretary) has handwritten in ink "Dad - Please explain to me what exactly this means about Hachette. Are Bouchet/Castel & Hachette still connected? / Tony". Henry Miller's handwritten initialed reply in the upper left hand corner reads: "No! Hachette is the big distributor for all publishers in France. Send out / H.M." Buchet's letter concerns Hachette's distribution of Miller's "J'suis pas plus con qu'un autre".
