Title: A typed-letter-signed by Christian de Bartillat, president of Editions Stock to Henry Miller, dated 16 octobre 1972
Description: Paris, 1972. 30x20cm, three pages.. ¶ This is an original single-side16-line typed letter signed by the president of the French publishing house Editions Stock to American author Henry Miller. With Miller's inked comment written in left-hand corner "Don't change title! 'Harry, tout court' much better". Stapled to the letter are 2 pages of photocopies concerning Théâtre de Nice production of "Pas de Pepins pour Harry". Bartillat's letter reads in part: "... en ce qui concerne nos projets, je me suis mis en relation avec George Belmont et, bien entendu, je voudrais, je désirerais, je souhaiterais publier ' Insomnia' l' année prochaine, en reprenant é galement au Chêne 'Dimanche apres la Guerre' et ' Max et les Phagocytes'".
