[Cd. 2367]. The papers, preserved in the family of Grimston of Kilnwick, belonging to Ladt Du Cane, belonged for the most part to Vice-Admiral Medley. They include a large bundle of French correspondence, mainly letters written from 1714 to 1746 to the Chevallier deCaylus, a captain in the French Navy. Prepared by Sir J.K. Laughton.
