Light age toning, original wrapps., some marking and rust stains, leading corner curled also affecting first four leaves of text, loss to backstrip. ¶ A satire on the banning of Radclyffe Hall's controversial novel The Well Of Loneliness’ (1928). The poem's primary targets were James Douglas and William Joynson-Hicks. Douglas called for the suppression of The Well of Loneliness, and Joynson-Hicks started legal proceedings against it.
