Light age toning, occasional spotting, original terracotta blind embossed cloth, some fading and marking, bumped to head of upper board, recased with much loss to original spine with modern cloth to head and tail. ¶ Our plates titled ‘Emigrant family on the Road to California’, (additional title page) Scene on a Branch of the Sacramento, Encampment in the Valley of the Sacramento.
