Evans Sept 21, 1926.’ Ex.-libris A[lexander] M[eyrick] Broadley (1847–1916), also known as Broadley Pasha, was a British barrister, author, company promoter and social figure. The last fifteen years of Broadley's life were devoted to writing and book collecting, Napoleon and his age being at the heart of it, but also a large collection of works on criminal jurisprudence. He made significant acquisitions of manuscript material, accumulating original letters and documents.
