Arnaud, M.D. and a table exhibiting the difference between English and French weights. 12mo. [8] + 232pp. Light browning moreso to e.ps., early sheep boards, some wear and marking with surface loss in part to lower board, rebacked in modern calf with gilt lettered title label. ¶ ESTC T135674; Wellcome II p.141 (1769 Edition). Thomas Goulard (1697–1784) French surgeon famous for Goulard's extract, a solution of lead (II) acetate and lead (II) oxide which was formerly used as an astringent. Goulard was a surgeon and anatomist in Montpellier who specialized in genitourinary disorders. His best known written work is titled Oeuvres de Chirurgie.
