Colonel Warburton intended to find a route to Perth but driven off course his party instead headed north west. This is a narrative of his expedition from the Telegraph line to the West coast. The remaining part contains contributions by Professor Owen, Dr. Hooker, John Gould and Dr. Henry Triman.
