Ann Hasseltine Judson (1789-1826) was one of the first female American foreign missionaries and served in Burma for many years with her husband Adoniram Judson. Due to ill health she had to return to England and the States for a short period in 1822-23. During this time she wrote these letters which contain information on missionary work and living circumstances in Burma. A well-preserved copy of a scarce work. Cordier BI 303.
