Description: . Folio. Thirty mounted plates, of which sixteen in colour, on thick cardboard. As issued loose in original cloth-backed illustrated portfolio with cotton ties. Title page slightly browned but otherwise in excellent condition. First edition. A collection of various Art Nouveau designs for ceramics, decorative panels, furniture, silver and ironworks, jewellery, etc made by famous artists of the time, including Roubille, Brandt, Bacard, Daurat, and Ségaud. There are many textile patterns from this period that date back to earlier centuries. Some of the plates were also published in "Documents de décoration moderne" issued about 1900.
