The folded gallery brochure measures 23x8.5 inches unfolded and has 10-sides and 6 color reproductions and a B/W image of the Hanover Merzbau "Blue Window" 1933 (destroyed 1943). The announcement poster is six-sided, folded and retains shadows of the plastic tabs on edge used to close the item for mailing. It measures 12x10.5 inches unfolded and has two Schwitter images. and four thumbnails of other work on view at the museum. Born in Hanover, Germany. Schwitters (1887-1948) worked in several genres and media, including Dadaism, Constructivism, Surrealism, poetry, sound, painting, sculpture, graphic design, typography, and what came to be known as installation art. He is most famous for his collages, called Merz Pictures.. . . Very Good
