Good hardback 18th edition.. 18th edition, 1830, with all maps checked and present; tightly bound in tan leather with gilt tooling to all sides; spine has been re-backed but original leather covers have been retained for front and back; date at base of spine is 1831 but owner's inscription on title page gives 1830 (twice); wear to edges and corners. Page fore-edges marbled. Internally, archival tape has been used to reinforce front hinge; both paste-downs have evidence of having had a book plate adhered to them; title page has been slightly trimmed; initial pages have scattered foxing; a few discolouration marks scattered throughout but text always clear and readable; overall, an interesting old book in good condition.
