Fair hardback . 1879 3 volumes combined as one volume, released same year as 1st edition; binding tight but slightly fragile; bound in slightly discoloured dark red cloth with gilt lettering to spine and black designs to front; blind-stamped border to back panel; corners and spine edges frayed; tiny tear on spine through 'p' in Trollope; hinges worn - front hinge torn at top; fore-edge of front panel has a small, semi-circular piece taken out of it. Page fore-edges darkened with light foxing to bottom page fore-edge. Internally, light foxing and discolouration spots scattered throughout but text clear and readable. An interesting old book.
