Description: Edward Stanford, 1902. Used - Good. Good folding map 1st ed.. Undated c.1902. Linen-backed dissected folding map (10 sections) with marbled paper cover. Appears to be as issued by Edward Standford, cartographer to His Majesty, in the original blue marbled covers. However, whilst there is a scaled margin at the top & sides of the map there is no margin at the bottom; the key which normally appears at the bottom is pasted to the back of the bottom LH section. Map is hand-coloured in 5 colours (slate, blue, orange, yellow & green)following the contours, with hand-drawn key on front cover (appears to be geological); 'Berkhampstead' written on front cover.
