This copy is neither signed nor numbered, and would appear to be a trial production proof of some sort, with the binding matching neither of the two states described in the colophon. Elephant folio. Unpaginated. Full un-lettered blue cloth. With a colour frontispiece and sixteen magnificent full-page colour plates. The cloth a little marked and scratched, and a touch of light wear to several corner tips. Some moisture marking to the cloth at the edges of the upper and lower boards, which also impacts a small area of the pastedown and free endpaper margins, but thereafter a fine unblemished copy internally.
