Her book addressed women's discontent with ingrained societal sexism that limited their opportunities to work or gain admittance to schools. After writing 'The Feminine Mystique', Betty Friedan went on in 1986 to co-found NOW (the National Organization for Women). In good/ very good condition. Dust jacket is chipped.
