Description: Amsterdam, W.Willems, 1850. 8vo. 2 vol.in 1. [v], 174-32 pp. Halfcloth (orig.wrappers of the 'Souvenir' preserved. (titlepage damaged and repaired, slightly foxed and stained; duty stamps) - prices and names of (agents of) buyers also noted in a neat contemporary hand in the main catalogue. The annotations are later supplemented by information in pencil. Most names of buyers are in fact representatives, i.a. P.Engelberts for the Städel Kunstinstitut Frankfurt; Bruni for the Russian tsar, Mawson for the Marquess of Hertford, Brondgeest for the Royal Musea in Brussels, etc. ¶ Most names of buyers are in fact representatives, i.a.
