An excellent edition of the complete works of George Eliot. This seven volume edition of the works of one of the leading novelists of the Victorian era, George Eliot. Containing her eight published works of fiction bound in seven volumes. With most of her novels set in provincial England, Eliot's works are known for their realism, psychological insight, sense of place and detailed depiction of the countryside. Consisting of all seven of her novels: Adam Bede, The Mill on the Floss, Silas Marner, Felix Holt, Romola, Daniel Deronda and Middlemarch, and her first published work of fiction, Scenes of Clerical Life, a collection of three short stories. With one novel per volume with the exception of Silas Marner and Scenes of Clerical Life, which are bound together. .
