Occasional light marginal soiling, but still a wonderful example. Contemporary quarter red morocco over marbled boards ruled in gilt. Smooth spine ruled and lettered in gilt. Neat early ink signature on front flyleaf. Small booksellers ticket of Henry Sotheran Ltd. on front paste-down. "The following Drawings, being correct representations of the Costumes of the Netherlands, (each subject having been sketched from Nature) may be found interesting at this time when British valour has made that part of the continent familiar to the Public."
