First edition of this pamphlet on infant baptism. The American clergyman and home missionary Seth Williston (1770-1851) was born in Suffield, Connecticut and graduated from Dartmouth College. He addressed the religious needs of people of Chenango country in New York before moving on to Patterson's Settlement in Broome County. In 1798, he traveled into the Cayuga Lake Country and later in life, in 1810, he set up as pastor in the Catskill Mountain town of Durham, New York. Good .
